I have over 30 years experience of providing speech & language therapy for children and young people with speech, language & communication needs.

For the past five years, I have combined working part time in the NHS with practising independently. I aim to ensure that all families I work with gain from this experience to help their children communicate more effectively.

I started working for the NHS after gaining my degree in BSc (Hons) Speech & Language Pathology & Therapeutics at Birmingham UCE in 1986. During the last 3 decades, I have acquired considerable experience in providing speech & language therapy to children, particularly those with speech, language and communication needs in the context of overall learning difficulties, such as Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Condition.

I help to develop attention and listening skills, comprehension skills and functional expressive language.

I work in the West Midlands, and cover all areas around Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Streetly, Aldridge, Bloxwich, Walsall, Great Barr, Lichfield, Tamworth and West Bromwich.

I am a Member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists ( RCSLT) and the Association  of Speech & Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP)
I am registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
